Lee And Lee Structural Engineering Inc. collaborated with Architect Birba Group on the development of a 61-unit affordable apartment complex designed to address the critical need for safe and accessible housing for low- to moderate-income families. Our role focused on applying advanced structural engineering solutions to ensure the building’s long-term durability and compliance with contemporary codes.

The complex utilizes modern construction techniques that not only meet but exceed current standards for structural integrity and energy efficiency. Our design integrates sustainable materials and innovative engineering methods, reducing both environmental impact and operational costs for residents. Each apartment unit is engineered to provide spacious and functional living spaces, incorporating essential amenities with optimized layouts for storage and usability.

Communal areas—including landscaped outdoor spaces, laundry facilities, and secure parking—are structurally supported to enhance resident quality of life while maintaining safety and accessibility. Accessibility features are rigorously incorporated in accordance with ADA guidelines, ensuring inclusivity for all users.
